- 05.07.2013 - 36th FARO for the first 100 exhibitors registering for METEF
The first 100 exhibitors registered at METEF and showing interest in FARO meetings are offered the great chance to attend the Observatory next Ring Time and Matching sessions.
The 36th FARO will be held in Mendrisio (Canton Ticino – Switzerland) on June 19th and 20th with the aim to offer the exhibitors the chance to get in touch with the sector corporate decision makers (entrepreneurs, supply chain and purchase managers) present at the meetings as well as with over 4,000 professional operators before and after METEF.
The next two days of FARO, Observatory that has been dedicating to economics and commodities for over ten years and that METEF is partner to, offer an interesting trip into the Italian manufacturing industry par excellence as well as access to a prestigious network of entrepreneurs and top managers in the purchase and finance departments. The programme, rich as usual, offers the chance to meet visionary entrepreneurs, listen to macro views by world-renowned experts such as Giles B. - 04.22.2013 - The sixth Metalriciclo-Recomat at METEF
- Metalriciclo-Recomat, Exhibition of the Technologies for the Recovery and Recycling of Ferrous and Non Ferrous Metals, Industrial Materials, Environment Quality and Energy Efficiency, will run along with METEF at Veronafiere on June 11th to 13th 2014. This shown has always been a reference point for the industrial sector related to the recovery and recycling of metals and industrial materials and in force of METEF strong internationality will be able to attract professional operators from all over the world.
Recovery and recycling are a strategic and fast growing economic sector in terms of interest and expansion since it is an irreplaceable source of industrial materials contributing to environmental and energy sustainability. The growth of the metals and materials recycling rate has generated an outstanding development of the Made-in-Italy machines, systems and technologies for recycling and recovery, activity appreciated worldwide. Metalriciclo-Recomat, member of BIR (Bureau of International Recycling) is supported by all trade unions that promote METEF, especially by Assofermet, also representing the Italian traders of ferrous and non-ferrous scrap, and by CiAl, Consortium of Aluminium Packaging, while the prestigious magazine Recycling International is media sponsor to this event.
This show addresses car wreckers, metal collection and recovery companies, scrap users for downstream hot processing, waste disposers, recycled metals traders as well as authorities, associations and institutions in the recycling sector.
- 04.21.2013 - 17th April: press conference to introduce METEF 2014
- METEF, expo of customized technology for the aluminium and innovative metals industry, as well as its satellite shows Metef, Foundeq, Metalriciclo-Recomat and the new entry Alumotive, was introduced to the press last April 17th during a very visible conference held at Fiera di Verona and featuring a rich panel of speakers. Veronafiere President Ettore Riello stressed the importance of the partnership between Alfin-Edimet and Veronafiere in promoting Metef as global event with over 500 exhibitors from 29 foreign countries and more than 15,000 visitors, 30% of which from abroad. Moreover the 2014 edition new formula aims to represent the whole Italian production chain of aluminium and innovative materials on the international arena, where competitiveness is increasingly challenging.
